Privacy Policy
Raylara shares fashion trends and AI-generated style ideas for cities, starting with Dubai. This policy explains what information we collect on our website and social media accounts, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect as little as possible.
Who we are
Raylara is operated by an individual based in the United Arab Emirates. You can contact us about this policy or your data at raylara.contact@gmail.com.
Our website
We measure visits with our own privacy-friendly analytics. It does not use cookies, local storage, advertising trackers or fingerprinting, and it does not store your IP address. For each page view or click we record:
- the page you visited (without any query string), and the website that referred you, if any;
- campaign tags in the link, such as
utm_source=instagram; - your approximate location (country, region and city), worked out by our hosting provider from your connection and never stored as an IP address;
- your device type (mobile, tablet or desktop);
- actions on the page, such as clicking a link to Instagram or another website.
To count unique visitors, we combine your IP address and browser details with a random value that changes every day, and store only a short one-way code. The daily value is deleted the next day, so visits cannot be linked across days or traced back to you. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, we do not create this code at all.
We use this information only to understand which content and cities interest our audience. We keep these records for up to 24 months.
Our Instagram and other social media accounts
We publish content to our own accounts using the platforms' official tools. The platforms give us aggregated statistics about our posts, such as reach and engagement. Comments, messages and follows happen on those platforms and are governed by their privacy policies, including Instagram's Privacy Policy.
We use the Pinterest API to read aggregated trend information, such as which fashion keywords and styles are growing in popularity in a region. We do not use the Pinterest API to collect personal information about Pinterest users, we do not ask you to connect your Pinterest account, and we do not sell or share Pinterest data. We use Pinterest content only as allowed by Pinterest's terms.
AI-generated content
Our outfit images are generated with AI (Google Gemini) using synthetic models, and our captions are drafted with AI (Anthropic Claude). Every image is labelled as AI-generated. We do not send website visitors' information to these AI services.
Service providers
We rely on providers who process data for us under their own security and privacy terms: Cloudflare and Amazon Web Services (website hosting and storage), Meta (Instagram), Pinterest, Google (Gemini) and Anthropic (Claude). Some of them process data outside the UAE.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not use advertising cookies or build advertising profiles.
- We do not knowingly collect information from children. Our content is intended for adults.
We will update this policy before we introduce affiliate links, newsletters or any other feature that collects more information.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and the EU and UK GDPR, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to object to its use. Because our website analytics cannot identify individuals, we usually cannot link records to a specific person. Contact us at raylara.contact@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and its effective date.
